On Thursday, April 26, Luis Antonio González will offer a concert on the beautiful organ of the ‘Canonesas del Santo Sepulcro’ in Saragoosa, an instrument that can be identified with the “organillo de tres diferencias” (‘small three-stop organ’) that, according to the existing documentation, Martín de Córdoba built in 1537 for said convent (in the photo, the instrument before its restoration, at the end of 20th century). The concert is part of the celebrations of the 800th anniversary of the founding of the ‘Casa de Ganaderos’ and is part of the program “Zaragoza 2018. Anniversary Commemoration of the City”, in which, under the coordination of the Royal Academy of Noble and Fine Arts of San Luis, also participate the City of Saragossa, Government of Aragon, Cortes de Aragón, Ibercaja Foundation, University of Saragossa, ‘Casa de Ganaderos’ Foundation, Archbishopric ofSaragossa, ‘Justicia de Aragón’ and Tourism Aragon. In a 14th century venue (the Church of the Holy Sepulchre of Saragossa), Luis Antonio González will play a program with music from the 14th to the 16th centuries, including pieces from the Aragonese musical heritage recovered by his own research.
